The Figure-riseLABO series challenges new forms of expression in plastic models. The theme of the third installment is "Costumes"!
From "Love Live!", the μ's member in charge of costumes, Minami Kotori, is now available as a plastic model!
■Precise mold processing is used on the details, with the balloons and shoes having a glossy texture and the costume fabric having a matte texture, to express the appropriate texture for each part.
■A variety of techniques have been utilized in the costume. The back uses polarized pearl material to recreate the delicate sheen of organza, while the skirt is made up of three layers to create a beautiful gradation of volume. The lace section has been embossed to recreate the changes in transparency due to the density of the embroidery. The clear material on the sleeves and skirt is mixed with glitter to add to the glamour!
The face is made with advanced layered injection technology to recreate the character's facial expressions. The shining eyes have rounded edges to recreate the blurring seen in the series.
